I decided to attempt my first etsy treasury this morning and am quite pleased with it, I went for a Halloween Theme seeing as October is rapidly approaching!

London Zoo

Apologies for not being active on here recently, I will try to amend that and start blogging much more often.

So to kick it off again, I wanted to share a lovely vintage item I came across awhile back.

A London Zoo Guide from 1966! It's such a great piece, I almost kept it for myself as I love animals.

But I have managed to convince myself to sell it and now, it's available via my ebay.

I'm off to have a lay down and watch the 'Addam's Family Values' film! I love the Addams Family, despite being nicknamed 'Wednesday' when I was younger. I'd love to be her, so it was hardly an insult!

Wet Weather!

With the weather having turned a little chilly and rainy, this postcard listed recently in my etsy shop is very fitting! It's of a storm at Blackpool, look at those huge waves crashing into the sides!

Pokemon Nostalgia!

I used to love collecting pokemon cards, I thought it was really cool when I was younger. So, I couldn't resist adding some to my stock when I came across some in excellent condition.

I've been busy scanning, cropping and listing them on ebay this evening and finally, they're all on there apart from the few energy cards I got with them.

Who was your favourite? I always adored Pikachu!

Children & Postcards

Some of my favourite postcards have to be vintage ones of children, they're so adorable and always wearing such lovely, pretty outfits! Here's a few I've acquired recently, which will be listed in my Etsy Shop soon.

Stall

I had a few of my items on a stall today, for a few hours. It was nice but unfortunately, not many people passed through the area.

Love my 1975 Box of four unused Tennis balls, at the bottom of the picture!

Despite the lack of sales, I enjoyed myself and it was nice to have some of my stuff on display for people to see, rather than just online constantly.

50 Listings?!

Since opening my shop on Etsy almost two weeks ago, my aim has been to reach 50 listings and now tonight, I have finally reached it! It feels good but the next aim is 100, so I better keeping going! Hopefully I'll reach 100 within the next two weeks. :)

Upcycle

I decided to upcycle an old map I had, that was tattered and had no value to it. So, I made some adorable badges from it!

First Etsy Sale!

I had my first sale through my Etsy Shop last night, I couldn't be more pleased! It's given me the push I need to make me list a few more items, which included a vintage compact.

Compacts!

I was bought a small amount of stock this morning and stumbled across the most beautiful vintage compact!

It's not yet for sale in my etsy shop but if anyone is interested in it, I can happily arrange payment through paypal for you. It's a vintage compact, still researching it's age but it's made by Stratton, a company that began making compacts in 1923. I personally collect Stratton compacts and am very tempted to keep this myself but I bought it with the intention of selling on, so I will have to try and resist it.

I also bought another compact by stratton, just as lovely and vintage!

I'm very passionate about old books and today, I bought my oldest book to date!

It's from 1885 and will eventually be available to purchase but I am not in a rush to sell it, as I 

have never owned a book of over a hundred years old!
